Ironically, I know the painting you see when you search Wikipedia for Edward Hooper - Nighthawks. It's fun if you search Google Images for Nighthawks. Many have used the backbone of the Phillies diner and used it for their own purposes, like CSI announcing a new season, where the three patrons and cook are replaced with the CSI cast and even a dead body bent over the counter with a knife in its back :). There's also a Simpson's version with the very same diner but the Simpson's are not eating with their usual gusto. Thanks, juliar ...

I think I may be thinking of Edward Hopper, the American artist, when I look at some of these.
