Amazing shots Peter, can't believe you didn't mention the D300 before! Composition in all the shots is outstanding. That shot of the water is great, it really captures the energy and darkness of the falls... Wonder how many fallen Winterlude Cinnamon coated Beavertails it takes to make the water that brown....

Gawd, Michael, I hope the colour isn't from something WORSE than just Beavertails! :)
I like the shot of the falls. It has a pleasing butterscotch colour. This is one hard river to get right, colour-wise.
BTW, these pics were done with the D40 and kit lens. It really performs. How can I trade it in? I haven't made a "decent" pic yet with the D300!
