I came around a corner and there they were. I grabbed a quick shot on the fly. There was an empty motorized wheelchair, the kind that can stretch out like a chaise lounge, that you can't see between the two police cars. There was a barking dog in the unmarked SUV. There were no police officers in the vehicles or in sight anywhere.

Iris. Yes. They must've driven the length of the path from the fire station on Woodroffe.
