Pink light district

The block around our hotel had streetlights with magenta filters. Turns out it was for the Musée Réattu, accross the street from us, which was about to open a special exhibiton. It helped us get oriented the first few nights. All streets in Arles look alike!

What a gorgeous shot! Were the lamps really pink or did you tweak them?

The lamps were pink, Carmen, but the whole shot is tweaked giving it a bit of an Alpenglow. That undoubtedly is making the lights a bit more pink then they were.

Peter, I love love love this shot, just like I told you. There is something in the colour of the sky along with the "pink" lamps....

Thanks, Carmen. :)

I'm going to make you a print and hopefully it will have the same tonality.
